Hello from Tiled!
Ready for this month’s release notes? We are too! Let’s dive into what’s new in February.
You’ve got a new option to allow direct replies and you will want to check it out.
What is it?
When sharing microapps, Tiled users now have the control to choose whether replies from recipients are sent directly to you or to the general account email.
What’s in it for you?
You have options! You get to decide if direct replies are important for you to receive.
How to get started?
Check out this link → How to Manage Direct Share Replies
If you utilize the CSV export in the ‘Engagement’ section, the User view exports are now aligned and curated to reflect the user’s related activity.
What is it?
When exporting a CSV from the User View, you will see a curated export reflecting user-related activity, specific to the Tiled user. This means the export will reflect activity that is related to the Tiled User View you have selected.
What’s in it for you?
You are able to extract activity by Tiled user instead of pulling all activity for the account. This allows you to get a little more granular activity data.
We have added a few more capabilities and enhanced the builder workflow to help you shave off more time when creating a microapp.
What is it?
Microapp creators can now re-order pages, overlays, or states when using multi-select.
Microapp creators can also expect a group border around the selected tiles.
What’s in it for you?
You don’t have to move pages, overlays, or states one at a time.
How to get started?

If you add users to your Tiled account, we expanded the default option to include setting a default role.
What is it?
When adding multiple users to your Tiled account, you can now set a default role.
What’s in it for you?
You are able to ensure new users always have a role assigned to them.
How to get started?
Head over to the ‘User Management’ page, select the ‘+’ button, then select ‘import multiple users at once’ and you will see a new default option for the user role. For more details, click here.
For our API users who need to pull data by specific timezones can now do so. Users can ensure their Tiled data is aligned with the timezone of their stored data.
What is it?
API users can now call a timezone parameter to ensure they receive data in their desired timezone.
What’s in it for you?
By default, Tiled data is stored by UTC timezone and this does not always align with everyone’s needs. We are now giving you the ability and choice to select what timezone your data reflects. Pretty awesome if you ask us.
How to get started?
Reach out to your development team and let them know Tiled has a timezone parameter. Follow this link.
Assets added to the builder with duplicate names were experiencing some weird behavior, because the builder was not appending them correctly, but we have addressed it.
You may have experienced issues utilizing the data mapping arrows in the settings modal, but now they are working as expected.
Images within a scroll state had a habit of going fullscreen and getting stuck, but they are back to behaving normally again.
Windows machine users, you can now utilize our XD plugin again once you update to the most recent version of XD.
Stay tuned for next month’s release notes to see what else is coming!
