March Release is here!
Check out all of the ways we have improved the platform to make microapp creation, discovery and dynamic behavior better.
If you are looking to bring more interactivity to your microapps, you can now configure hover states for image tiles. By also setting a click state link to an internal/external page, you can now use the image tile to design buttons in your microapps.
Have control over your images by bringing more dynamic behavior to your microapps. You can set your image opacity, scale and transition, while configuring a click state. You can also use a secondary image to set the hover state for an image tile by dragging and dropping it onto the flyout.
Editors have three dynamic field types they can configure for single hotspots. These new dynamic fields for single hotspots include URL, email, and phone number.
If you are looking to have dynamic hotspots that can link to external pages, trigger a phone call, or trigger an email flow leverage the new dynamic field options. Instance creators can continue to easily replace external links, phone numbers and emails for dynamic single hotspots.
The information modal is accessible from the microapp three dot menu. It is available to base users, editors, and admins to enhance microapp discovery. The information modal provides a rich preview of the microapp to ensure it is the one you are looking for before sharing or viewing.
Users can find information on last publish time, size, and description of the microapp. They can also quickly scrub through the microapp’s pages by leveraging the image carousel Admins and editors looking to make quick edits can do so for both the microapp name and description.
This week you will see a new feature released in the platform making it easier than ever to create microapps. Simply click the blue ‘+’ button to get started. You will see several template microapps ready for your final touch.
Build microapps faster and get inspiration from our templates. Before committing to any template, you have the ability to get a preview of any existing adaptive format. These templates also come with a design file so you can continue to work in your desired design tool of choice. This is an important feature if you want to make changes for things such as branding.
