Welcome to our June release!
To learn more about this month's features start interacting with the microapp below or keep scrolling to read more.
You’ll notice a new option is available to you in the microapp settings modal to protect your microapps. You can now protect microapps using a password when sharing on the web. To enable this setting, turn the toggle on and publish in the builder.
We’re introducing a more secure way to share your microapps. Password protection helps protect microapps accessible through share links and only allows those with an authorized password to gain access. Whether you are sending a direct, public, or subtag share link, you can create your password or have the system generate one for each unique share link.
We’re providing you with more control over how you would like to share your microapp. Microapps containing sensitive information or information intended for a particular recipient can be protected using a password when sharing. Anyone with access to the share link will not automatically have access to the microapp unless they have the password. You can now feel confident that your microapps are accessible to only those you want to see them.

This year we have focused on bringing additional functionality to many of the tile flyouts in the builder. This time we have taken the hotspot tile and enhanced what it can do for our microapp creators.
Hotspots are used to link pages, overlays, and states in your microapp. This feature allows you to tailor the microapp experience the way you want.
We’ve expanded your target dropdown to include some impactful options. The target options include external URLs, email addresses, phone numbers, and states from other pages. These options are also now searchable from the dropdown.
Overall, the new capabilities allow you to configure your hotspots a little faster and with more ease. You have more options and freedom around organizing your microapp experience.
We know using the hotspot target dropdown list can be cumbersome for those of you with a large number of pages, overlays, or page states. The new search capability alleviates that process for you. Having the option to link to a state from another page continues to bring you more flexibility in tailoring the experience.

If you're a base user you may have experienced a black screen when opening a microapp in a browser. We have fixed this issue!
