Welcome to the August Release!
Check out all the ways we are making microapp creation a little more seamless.
Admins now have the ability to upload and manage custom fonts in Tiled. Custom fonts can be managed from the new Font Management tab in your Account Settings.
• Upload OTF or TTF font file from your device
• Go to the builder and drag a text tile onto your canvas
• Use the font family dropdown field to search for your newly uploaded fonts
Use custom fonts to maintain consistency across all your digital materials, ensuring your brand's identity and message remain coherent and recognizable. By uploading these fonts, they will become accessible across all libraries, allowing your microapps throughout different libraries to have a consistent look and feel. This will be especially, helpful when leveraging personalization for text.

As you reuse your components across your microapp designs and convert them to tiles, the tile’s asset will sync over as a single asset. If any of the component instances have changes from the master component, those will sync over as additional assets. This will ensure your microapps are not unnecessarily weighed down with duplicate assets.
Mainly, a cleaner and lighter microapp. Your asset panel will not sync over duplicate assets, making it easier to find what you are looking for.
The public API has been updated for microapps with Personalization. When updating dynamic fields, you can now upload a file for images and videos that are less than 10mb. This will allow you to have more flexibility with how you set your dynamic fields especially if you have your assets already stored outside of Tiled.
Not only can leverage the Public API to programmatically create and update new instances, you can now upload file types for dynamic fields. This means you can utilize existing assets already stored on your end without re-uploading them to Tiled.

Last month we released microapp page-level links for internal microapp sharing and now there is mobile app support. Tiled users who click an internal link on their mobile device will see the mobile application open on the specific page, state, or overlay.
If you or your users heavily use the mobile app, you an now easily view microapps that have been internally shared right from your mobile device.
Figma Plugin
Figma plugin users will no longer experience page state issues when syncing (coming later in August)
